Redirect EV SSL Certificates

Follow the Instructions Below

Thanks for submitting your information!

Now that you have completed your Extended Validation SSL purchase, you’ll be guided through the validation process where the Certificate Authority (CA) will simply need to verify a few things about your business. The best way to expedite this process is to make sure you use the CORRECT spelling of your company name. Make sure to include your corporate identifiers such as, LLC or Inc. exactly as it was when you registered your business, commas and everything! Also, make sure to list your main phone number, and that it could be found in most public databases. If you can do that, you’ll be well on your way. If you have any issues, we have many validation specialists standing by that can help you with any part of the process.

What happens next?

You will be receiving an email in the next few hours to begin the SSL generation/enrollment process. Please follow the link in the email to provide Digital Media Pal with the information necessary for issuance.

The email will provide you with instructions on how to proceed. If you have any questions, please call Andrew Parsons at 714-926-5436 or via email at andrew@digitalmediapal.com.

Things to consider when you receive your email:

As mentioned, an EV certificate will require you to provide information about your business to be verified by the Certificate Authority (CA).

Below is a summary and some details about what you will be required to provide.

Registered Legal Business Name

Your company must be officially registered with your government. The Certificate Authority (CA) will look to verify that your organization has existed for more than 3 years. If your organization has not been in existence for more than 3 years, additional proof of operational status will be required, such as: Dun & Bradstreet Number, Professional/Legal Option Letter (POL), or a simple bank confirmation letter.

Assumed Name (DBA, Fictitious Name)

Not required, only if applicable.

DUNS Number

A D&B Number also known as the D-U-N-S® Number or Dun & Bradstreet ID Number is a 9 digit number that is unique to each business that has one. This numbering system, known as the Data Universal Numbering System, was developed by Dun & Bradstreet back in 1963 in order to help standardize business information. If your organization does not yet have a DUNS number, or no one knows it, visit the Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) website or call 1-866-705-5711 to register or search for a DUNS number.

Division/Department (aka Organizational Unit)

(i.e. Finance department, Accounting, Marketing, Executive Administrator, etc.)

Main Business Phone Number

Telephone Verification – the Certificate Authority (CA) must pull an active telephone number from an acceptable telephone directory in order to complete a verification call with the company (The most popular directories include YellowPages, Hoovers, Scoot.co.uk, Dun and Bradstreet, BBB.org – but other regional telephone directories or industry directories are also acceptable).

Business Fax Number

Not required, only if applicable.

Business Address

Your registered organization must have a verifiable physical address and business presence in your respective country/state
